Abstract		Diabetes mellitus is one of the risk factors for development of cardiovascular diseases. Therefore we have to maintain high quality medical care for diabetics. Guidelines accepted are very helpful in quality assurance. Quality care can be measured with quality indicators. We can find them in the care structure, care process, intermediate and final outcome, patient's satisfaction and existence of a diabetic patient's register . With a quality indicators assessment, comparison and individual or general feedback, we can achieve diabetes care quality improvement.
