Abstract | This paper is concerned with the acceptance and utilisation of nursing theories in Slovene nursing. It follows that Slovene nurses cannot realistically expect help from randomly and uncritically selected nursing theories in education and further cannot accept them in practice is essentially because the theories selected were developed to help nurses who work in different health and nursing environments. Slovene nurses can use different theories from other countries, but they need to be evaluated and tested in Slovene health and nursing environments before they are institutionalised. | |
