Abstract     The preface the author presents a meaning of narrative to acquiring and creating of knowledge. Through narrative patient's holism discourses and professional identity discourses could be expressed. Narration tell us who we are on the basis of the real world. Through narradve we also present individual experiences that have moral epistemological significance. ln the background of the stories there are problems which call for dialog. Through nursing care stories we realize the importance of interpersonal relationship. The author presents several patients' and Slovene nurses' stories about unethical relationships from practice. She analyses most stories from the point of right or wrong view. Stories about dying and death expose nurses' lived experiences and incapability to help patients in conerete situations. In storie.s where nurses were burned out we can find ethical dilemmas related to profession.
