Abstrakt     Internal ethical control in the relation between doctors and their patients is indispensable necessary. A change in this traditional patriarchal relation into a partnership is a serious ordeal for both of them. We are now also aware of the dark side of the informed consent which should perfectly solve that problem. The media are of fatal importance because they amplify the patients' mistrust in health care. WMA and WHO regulate the globalisation in medicine with their declarations. So The Declaration about patient's rights superimposes the delicate relation between patients and doctors. Action morality is an outcome of ethical relativism in medical relations while it still proclaims that everything what is not prohibited is allowed. R.S. Mendelsohn critically calls one's attention to faults and incorrect regulations in the health care system olthe USA and to a harmful consumption mentality in health care in general.
