Abstract		Stroke as a sudden accident interferes with all aspects of human life. It could be a life threatening condition, recovery is prolonged and often incomplete. The greatest functional improvement is expected during the faze of spontaneous recovery. Intensive early medical rehabilitation in that period of time could be the key point for successful rehabilitation outcome. With early medical rehabilitation we try to prevent the complications and achieve the most optimum possible functional status. The main goal is independence in walking and activities of daily living.
