Abstract     Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a skill that can save lives. Medical students are taught theoretical basis, but often say they lack in practical skills. The aim of the study was to determine how first and fifth - year medical students evaluate their knowledge of CPR. The results of these study indicate inssufficient knowledge of CPR. The reason for this is considered to be educational system itself which does not offer students the opportunity to refresh theoretical and practical skills.
