Abstract     Healthcare providers engaged in the training of diabetes patients need to follow the trends correlated to the growing number of the world population suffering from diabetes, and the improving chances of treating this disease. Healthcare training is intended for the diabetes patients to gain knowledge about diabetes, its treatment, its acute and chronic complications, and their prevention. Well-informed and healthcare-trained diabetes patients are those who know how to control and manage the level of their blood sugar, lead a quality life, and prevent acute and chronic complications of this disease.
