Abstrakt | An introduction and sustainability of total quality management/continuous quality improvement (TQM/CQI) is a responsibility of a director of healthcare organization. Organizational culture is seen as a major obstacle in introducing TQM/CQI. A svstem of quality which will be implemented in Slovenia, work in progress and responsibilities of leadership in introducing structures, methods and tools of quality are discussed. The importance of outcome indicators and other quality indicators is emphasized as a measure of performance of a healthcare organization and as a basis for accountability. | |
Izvleček | Za uvajanje in vzdrževanje upravljanja celovite kakovosti/nenehnega izboljševanja kakovosti (UCK/NIK) je odgovoren direktor zdravstvenega zavoda. Opisana je kultura zdravstvenih organizacij kot največja ovira pri uvedbi (UCK/NIK). Prikazan je sistem kakovosti, ki bo veljal v Sloveniji, dosedanje delo in vloga vodstva pri uvajanju struktur, metod in orodij kakovosti. Poudarjen je pomen kazalcev izidov in drugih kazalcev kakovosti, na podalgi katerih je moč prikazati uspešnost delovanja zdravstvene ustanove in na podlagi tega zgraditi odgovornost. | |
