Abstract		Our activities are controlled by nerve tracts, i.e. groups of nerve fibres with the common origin, course and destination. Afferent nerve pathways conveying information to the central nervous system are presented. The exact role of some of them has not yet been definitely determined. Knowledge of the function and anatomy of nerve tracts, enables us to localise various nervous defects.
Summary		Živčne proge so zaporedje nevronov, vpletenih v razne aktivnosti živega bitja. V članku so opisane ascendentne živčne proge, ki vodijo podatke do skorje velikih in malih možganov ter do drugih središč v osrednjem živčevju. Opisane so tudi proge, ki pri človeku še niso povsem poznane in njihovo vlogo in pomen šele raziskujemo. S pomočjo znanja o živčnih progah lahko prostorsko opredelimo klinične izpade.
