Abstrakt		Transcranial Doppler ultrasonography is an important ultrasonic diagnostic method for monitoring of the cerebral vascular flow during the thrombolytic therapy. This method allows us monitoring of complete or partial recanalisation in the middle cerebral artery, at the same time it is possible to use diagnostic transcranial Doppler ultrasonography also for therapeutic means; because the biophisical effects of ultrasound accelerate the process of thrombolysis.
