Abstrakt		Multimodal analgesia is the cornerstone of pain treatment. Each agent has distinct aduantages and disadvantages compared to the others. The use of a combination of analgesics might improve the clinical outcomes. A combination is the most effective when the indiuidual agent acts throng different analgesic mechanisms and acts synergistically. A combination analgesics can provide more effective pain relief for a broader spectrum of pain. A combination analgesics presents the therapeutic potential due to the possibility of reducing adverse drug reactions. The most used combinations are a nonsteroid antinflammatory drug or acetaminophen with an opioid or tramadol. The goat of formulation of combination analgesics is to facilitate pain treatment both to patient and the physician.
