Abstrakt		Infections in liver transplant patients (LTP) are related to surgical procedure and immunosupression as in other solid organ transplant recipients. Besides, hepatitis being the cause of transplantation may re-occur in allograft as well. Approach to the LTP with infection, and various bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic infections in LTP including their clinical presentation, diagnostics, treatment and prevention are reviewed in the paper. Experiences with infections in LTP, transplanted in University Medical Centre Ljubljana are presented in brief.
