Abstract		61-year old patient was addmitted to the ICU after succesful out-of-hospital resuscitation due to unrecognized acute myocardial infarction of anterior wall. With percutaneous coronary intervention we opened infarct related artery. After resuscitation we induced hypothermia in the patient. He also had pneumonia, which prolonged his hospital stay and weaning from mechanical ventilation. He was discharged from the hospital with CPC (Cerebral Performance Category) 2.
