Abstract | Philosophy of terrorism violence has radically changed through past years. Terrorist groups do not claim responsibilities for their acts any more because their new goals are to injure and kill as many as possible and not publicity. New age terrorists chemistries, fizziest, biologists... All of this force rescue services and emergency medical services to take into account new risks during analyses and accommodate their plans and trainings to mass casualty incidents as results of terrorist attacks. During preparation process they have to prepare themselves for different scenarios: abuse of "classic" hazardous materials, use of chemical weapons, bioterrorism and radiation terrorism. Rescue services and emergency medical services will effectively accomplish their job if they are well prepared either for "classic" mass casualty incident or for mass casualty incidents due to terrorist attack with hazardous material. | |
