Abstrakt | The Government of the Republic of Slovenia adopted the Slovenian Nutrition Action Plan for the period 2005 - 2010. The Action plan was prepared by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia in cooperation with other ministries and experts. The action plan is prepared as a whole, and contains three main pillars: food safety, nutrition and food security (sustainable local security). The purpose of the implementation is to improve nutrition habits and health among the Slovenian population and to decrease the burden of disease closely linked with unhealthy nutrition habits and unhealthy lifestyle. | |
