Abstract     Patients surviving cardiac arrest often suffer from different neurological abnormalities due to ischaemic brain injury. Induced hypothermia improves nevorologic outcome in survivors after primary cardiac arrest due to VF or pulseless VT. Cooling should be induced as soon as possible after ROSC only in unconscious patients. If patient is alert and awake cooling is not indicated. We report a case of a patient after cardiac arrest in whom cooling was not indicated.
