Abstrakt		Since 2004 a direct transport of patients with ST elevation myocardial infarction to the PCI facility is implemented in Slovenia. During 15-month period, from 1.1.2005 to 31.3.20006, pre-hospital EMS Celje had 1775 intervention, 138 (7,8%) due to acute coronary syndrome. 55/138 (40%) were STEMI, 28/55 (51%) were transported directly to PCI, all of them within 90 minutes from the first contact with the emergency team. Total ishaemic time was in 12/28 (43%) patients less than 120 minutes. Serious complications during pre-hospital phase of intervention were noticed in 21%oi patients transported directly to PCI, all complications were resolved successfully.
