Abstrakt		Background: Due to good production/laboratory practice, Council of Europe recommendations on preparation, use and quality assurance of blood components and implementation of ISO 9001 standard, our department introduced daily quality control of immunohematological tests. Results: In the immunohematological laboratories I and IV daily inspections are performed with the device »Sampler III M« and in immunohematological laboratories II and III the controls are performed manually. ID gel cards, microtitre plates and glass plates are used for the checking. The results are entered in a particular form. Where the controls are performed by the automate, a printout of the results is added to the form. Conclusion: With daily quality control of immunohematological tests we control the automates, the gel cards, the solutions and the staff, keeping them up to date.
