Abstract     Feeding therapy at the Centre for Qualification, Work and Care, Draga, Ig, is based on neuro, developmental treatment and sensory integration. Through proper handling at feeding an occupational therapist facilitates normal patterns in child's movement. A child develops normal automatic reactions of poise and provides appropriate sensory-motor experiences. The main objective of occupational therapy is to induce a child with severe deficiencies to participate in activities that are important, including feeding, and contribute to his or her quality of life. This article presents feeding the child with severe deficiencies whose main problem is hypersensitivity to auditory inputs from the environment at mealtime. This article has been written to research positive or negative influence of sensory inputs from environment on feeding skills in the child with severe deficiencies. The research based on method A-B with one participated child, checks the influence of classic music on effectiveness of feeding skills. The article focuses on children with severe deficiencies, with mental disorders and problems in motor development. Conclusions of the research confirm that neuro-developmental treatment and sensory integration with adapting environment at mealtime and with classic music, have positive influence on feeding skills in the child with severe deficiencies. Sensory input, like quiet, classic music, is a significant factor to facilitate child's full participation in feeding.
