Abstrakt		There is still some dispute about he treatment of the humerus shaft fractures. The fracture does not allways heal according to aspectation. So the conservative treatment still represents the golden standard. The article describes modificated Caldwell's method of conservative fracture treatment. The fragments are aligned by activity of the gravity force of the hanging cast. Few hours later the x-ray control is made. The fragment position is maintained by the Dessault cast for 3-4 weeks following by the functional brace for additional 3 weeks.
