| Abstract | | Centre Draga is a social health care tnstttuon for qualification, training and education, health care, rehabilitation and nursing of children and teenagers with moderate, severe and profound deficiencies in mental development with additional impairment. The institution also comprrises a residential unit for adults with moderate, severe and profound deficiencies in mental development. There is also a day centre for children and adolescents with severe and profound deficiency in mental development. The institution can receive 287-294 residents. In the day centre there has room for IS residents. Basic aims of the institution area development of mental and physical capabilities to the maximum potential in such a way thut retarded persons are less dependent upon the help of others, constant health care, general and special care, habilitation and rehabilitation of all the residents, social health care of retardedpersons, offering substitute homes. Health care and (re)habilitation is based upon team work of subspecialists (pediatrician, child neurologist, psychiatrists, orthopedist, dentist), head nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speak therapist, psychologist, social worker.
