Abstract		This article describes history of treating of hip fractures. There are listed some general recommendations for treating of hip fractures in elderly. Basic principles of operative treatment of subcapital, lateral neck, pertrochanteric and subtrochanteric fractures are described. At the end of this article possible complications are listed and solving of complications is described.
