Abstrakt		Authoress presents the activity of mental-hygienic workers in tendering proffessional help to the refugees in Slovenia. She analyses the motives for their involvement in this work interactions with refugees, sperial working conditions and changed professional role. She demonstrates special problems at preventive and therapeutic work, which origin from specific experiences of refugees and their cultural characteristics. She treats the problems of professionals, which are in the same manner conditioned by the intensity of grief, experienced by refugees. The presentation of the refugees and mental-hygienic professionals is concluded with the recommendations regarding the tendering of psychosocial help to the refugees.
