Abstract		The UNIX DOS integration consists of two central personal computers with UNIX operating sistems as servers and personal computers with DOS, as local workstations. On the 1st server there is installed the statistical package SPSS/X and on the 2 nd server there is installed INFORMIX for processing data base. User can work on his personal computer independently from central computer, but if user wishes to get central data he or her can choose one ofthree ways: Ist The user can get his or her directory with data on the central disk as another DOS partition on his or her workstation. 2nd Program WINGZ, which runs in WINDOWS environment on the local workstation allows user to use the data base directly. 3rd PC Connect, which also runs in WINDOWS environment nllows user to log on UNIX server and to work on central conputer with SPSS/X and INFORMIX in use's central directory and simultaneously on local workstation with WINDOWS and DOS applications in local directories. This is so called multitasking and multiuser sistem.
