| Abstract | | The objective of our contribution is, above all, to point out the keypoints ofINFOMED system development which nre being linked to environment from the issue point of view. The issues have been divided into three main complexes: - non-defined deficient or out-of date standards and cipherants: KB - Slovene version services - green book, material, medical institutions; - inexact data collection for statistical processing which give retarded analyses; - non-defined organizational principles and conditions of business operation (restruc turing o fhealth care, insurance. For each potentially problematic complex, a concrete solution is being given ns altrnative, which has been launched in order to make our systems viable, however, it has to be pointed out, that dilemmas on their broader suitability and verification, emerge everywhere. In the end possibilities offered by computer technology, are being indicated. It primarily meets the needs of basic information system, whereas later it occurs as the framework of the expertsystem application, variousprogramntesfordataprocessing, as well as for the link with other information systems and data bases.
