Abstract		The last two decades have been marked with great progres and changes in the concept of alcoholism all over the world and in our country. Psychotherapeutic group treatment of clients with alcohol dependence syndrome and their relatives has become an indispensable part of the comprehensive treatment of alcoholism. The author presents her years long experience with such method of treatment at Psychiatric Hospital in Idrija.
