| Abstract | Background. Compression treatment includes many techniques and is indicated for a number of different disorders, but it is still not getting enough attention. Conclusions. The article gives a description of main indications for compression treatment in venous and lymphatic dreinage disorders. There are also an explanation of pathophysiological changes physical and physiological basis for compression treatment, and details on applicability of different compressive bandages and elastic stockings. | |
