Abstrakt     Water dispersions of Poloxamer 407 have a wide applications feasibility in pharmaceutics, especially as vehicles for local drug application, because of their ability for reverse thermal gelation. Addition of Carbopol 934P influenced the rheological characteristics of basic Poloxamer gels. The samples containing different concentrations of both polymers were estimated by means of thermorheological tests, which enabled exact determination of parameters important for formulation optimisation. Specific interactions between the polymers were detected in both sol and gel state which have an impact on the following rheological properties of these combinations: - decrease of viscosity of sol from, - increase of viscosity of gel form, - increase of the rate of sol-gel transformation.
