Abstrakt		The aim of our research was to establish the appearance of deciduous and mixed dention, frequency of permanent teeth, frequency of various typic and atypical combinations of permanent teeth and relation between chronological and dental age at 105 girls and 99 boys from the community of Maribor. We found out that 15,24 per cent of girls and 6,06 per cent of boys have mixed dention at 5 years and only 16,19 per cent of girls and 33,33 per cent of boys have deciduous dentition at 6 years of age. Between 6 to 8 years of age the frequency of permanent teeth per person is significantly higher for girls than for boys. Typical combinations of permanent teeth are more frequent than atypical. Chronological and dental age shows weak correlation.
