Abstrakt     V raziskavi smo analizirali morfološke lastnosti sadik bučk (Cucurbita pepo L.), vzgojenih na konvencionalen in ekološki način. V primerjavo so bile vključene sadike, gojene v konvencionalnem (Potgrond H) in organskem (Bio-Potgrond) substratu, gojene v šotnih lončkih in stiropornih ploščah s 40 celicami ter negnojene sadike in dognojevane z organskim gnojilom DUNGr 3.6.12S + 2MgO. Statistična analiza je pokazala, da način vzgoje ne vpliva na premer stebla pri sadikah. Konvencionalno gojene sadike so bile višje in so imele več listov kot ekološke sadike. Po drugi strani pa so ekološke sadike imele večjo maso. Predvsem je bila razlika očitna v masi korenin, saj je bila sveža masa korenin ekoloških sadik v primerjavi s konvencionalnimi večja za več kot 30 %. Domnevamo da je razlika posledica sestave substratov. Bio-Potgrond je namreč vseboval 3.000 g/m3 hranil, medtem ko je Potgrond H vseboval 1.500 g/m3 hranil. Kljub majhni vsebnosti dušika v gnojilu so bile dognojevane ekološke sadike kakovostnejše od negnojenih. Bolj kot na razvoj nadzemnega dela sadik je dognojevanje vplivalo na razvoj koreninskega sistema,kar je posebej pomembno pri presajanju sadik. Sadike bučk, vzgojene v šotnih lončkih, so v povprečju imele večjo maso kot sadike v stiropornih gojitvenih ploščah. Čeprav je uporaba gojitvenih plošč v praksi veliko bolj razširjena, se je v našem poskusu pokazalo, da so sadike v šotnih lončkih imele večjo maso. To pripisujemo dobri zračni prepustnosti lončkov.We analyzed morphological characteristics of seedlings of zucchini (Cucurbita pepo L.) grown in conventional and organic farming methods. Plants grown in conventional (H Potgrond) and organic (Bio-Potgrond) substrate were included in the comparison; they were grown in peat pots and styrofoam plates with 40 cells. Some plants were unfertilized and some fertilized with organic fertilizer DUNGr 3.6.12 S + 2MgO. Statistical analysis showed that the method of growing does not affect the diameter of the stems of young plants. Conventionally grown seedlings were higher and had more leaves as organic seedlings. On the other hand, organic seedlings had higher weight. In particular, the difference was significant in the mass of roots, since the fresh weight of the roots of organic seedlings compared to conventional was higher for more than 30%. We assume that the difference is due to the composition of the substrate. Bio- Potgrond had 3.000 g/m3 of nutrients, whilePotgrond H only had 1.500 g/m3. Despite the small amount of nitrogen, thefertilized seedlings were of higher quality than those without any fertilizer added. More than the development of the above-ground part of plants, fertilizing effected the development of the root system, which is especially important when transplanting. Zucchini seedlings grown in peat pots(on average) had higher mass than plants grown in styrofoam plates. Our study showed that the seedlings in peat pots have higher weight, although the use of production boards in practice is much more widespread. This was attributable to good air permeability of cups.
