Abstract		Three stages of developing kidney are described: pronephros, mesonephros and metanephros. The course of changes in metanephric intermediate mesoderm is given. The reciprocal inductive interaction between metanephric tubule and uretric bud is analysed. The inductive influence of nerve growth factor on development of metanephric tubules so as inductive role of Wilms tumor associated gene (WT1) on early growth of uretric bud is discussed.
