Abstrakt     Present study was intended to show correlation between schoolwork burdening and tiredness in pupils on one hand and intelligence, creativity, learning habits, motivation and psychological state on the other. Around 1,600 pupils of 3rd, and 7th class from 21 Slovenian primary school were tested. Findings show that burdening with learning, various home duties, as well as out-of-home and out-of-school activities is most closely correlated with intelligence. Intelligent children are generally more burdened than less intelligent. Leisure time is also closely correlated with intelligence, more talented pupils having more spare time. Tiredness (physical and psychical) is most closely associated with psychosocial state of pupils. More tired pupils have significantly more social and emotional problems than less tired ones. Similar is the correlation between functional disturbances and psychosocial state.
