Abstract		The frequency and treatment of maxillo-facial injuries sustained by children in the region of Celje is presented. In a population of 9000 children under 18 years of age, 299 injuries to permanent teeth, 46 injuries to primary teeth and 21 fractrures of the upper or lower jaw occurred in a period of five years.
