Abstract		Proper information at any time is the main purpose of 24-hour toxicological information service, offering clinically relevant data about poisons, drugs and potencially toxic products. Optimal information is triple: about the poison, about rational diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and about the most suitable medical institution to which the patient should be admitted. Some most important difficulties are presented.
