Abstract		The role of Parameics in the treatment of critical trauma patients has been contraversial. Studies have shown that by rapid evaluation and management of critical trauma patients, the survival rates dramatically increase. The priory must lie in recognition of the mechanism of injury, early intervention, and rapid transportation to a trauma center well versed in the management of critical trauma.
