Abstract     In the article the conclusions of the project "Modernisation of Outpatients' Health Statistics" are presented. Working group comprised experts from Institute of Public Health of Republic of Slovenia and some from other institutions. The main tasks were the professional standpoints for the Law of evidence and the elaboration of the Minimum Data Set. Two main groups of Minimum Data Set were identified: permanent and dynamic data. The permanent data group is formed by two entities, namely the user (patients) and provider. The introduction of attribute "national identification number" is essential for national statistics. In the dynamic group four entities are essential: encounter, process, and planned encounter. The entity process encompassed 6 attributes, of which th most important diagnosis, has two attributes. At the end the step by step collection by different professional is presented.
