Abstract		The authors report on a patient with normal ECG findings, who a complete atrioventricular block caused by cough-induced complete atrioventricular block. Carotid sinus massage did not produce asystolia. The mechanism of cough-induced syncope and several other disturbances of cardiac rhythm likely to cause syncope are presented.
Summary		Prikazan je primer bolnika z normalnim EKG-jem, pri katerem je ob kašlju prišlo do izgube zavesti zaradi kompletnega atrioventrikularnega bloka. Z masažo karotidnega sinusa kompletnega atriventrikularnega bloka nismo izzvali. Opisan je mehanizem sinkope ob kašlju in različne druge motnje ritma, ki so ob kašlju lahko vzrok izgube zavesti.
