| Abstrakt | In Slovenj Gradec Urology department we started to operative in laparoscopic technique in 1990. At the beginning this method was used only to perform laparoscopic cholecystectomy and in 1992 we used this technique in urology (varix ligation) for the first time. Before 31.12.1995. we have performed 1578 laparoscopic procedures (1774 in abdominal surgery and 104 in urology. In this report the author would like to introduce great development in using laparoscopic operative methods in urology in the world and in Slovenia. In this article some hospital - organization changes, changes in surgery and some other specialisation concepts and learning and traning program changes were pointed aout. The author would also like to highlight all benefits that minimal invasive therapy offers to patients and society in general. All steps of laparascopic operative technique and all necessary instruments are introduced. | |
