Abstrakt		A variety of infectious agents can causethe limphadenopathy, regional or generalized in children. The author discusses the accurate dia nostic approach to this problem. In 1994, 216 children with limphadenopathy, admitted to the Infectious Diseases Clinic, were diagnostically handled.159 were hospitalised and 57 were outpatients. Limphadenopathy was age, sex and season related, corresponding to the etiologic factors. The data from this study suggest that infectious limphadenopathy in children is at most a benign disease of diverse etiology generally subject to spontaneous remission without subsequent morbidity.
