Abstrakt		Two activities are essential for the successful care of children namely adequate trace and control of their development following as more as possible various parameters. The COCIDIN COCIDIN is a numeric index shich can be used as a suitable base for above activities. Its greatest advantages are: it can be easily interpreted, it is based on a flexible structured model which can be easy modified and extended, and it is very appropriate for micro-computer-based analysis, trace and control.
