Abstrakt		The paper deals with differences between ICD-10 and ICD-9. THe Equivalent Tables are regarded as an attempt of connection between both classifications. The version of Equivalent Tables from Great Britain has been evaluated. The portion of simple and unique connections is smaller than the potion of complicated connections. Many categories from one classification do not have their equivalent categories in the other classification. Their use could be useful in interpreting of the reported and registered changes of mortality and morbidity, but it can not be helpful in coding of health statistics data.
