Abstract		in the article, the spectrum of classification of gastritis into diagnostically important categories is presented, including the prominent Sydney system. The stressed histomorphological changes detected in the gastric mucosa of HP infected population define the lesion as HP gastritis. Histomorphological determination of this infection, so as the resulting changes, are the golden standard in the diagnosis of gastric diseases.
