Abstrakt     Nabumetone displays acute anti-inflammatory activity in the carrageenan-induced paw edema in rats and analgetic activity in the writhing test in mice. Its activity in these tests is less than that of naproxen. The oral dose of nabumetone which inhibited acute carrageenan rat paw edema by 50 percent (ED50) was 27.4 mg/kg and 2.8 mg/kg for naproxen. In writhing test in mice we found that the oral dose of nabumetone which inhibited writhing by 50 percent (ED50) was 203.4 mg/kg and 15.9 mg/kg for naproxen, respectively.
Izvleček     S karageninom inducirani edem podganje tace in writhing test pri miši sta pokazala, da deluje nabumeton akutno protivnetno in analgeti?no.
