| Abstract | The article presents the contents of the diploma work of the author. Work injuries are presented as a specific index of the health status of active population. The concepts like work, workers, work injuries and work protection are presented. The comparison between private and public sector shows the number of injuries regarding age, place, cause and body part. | |
