Abstrakt		There has been interest expressed in varius countries, in having the International organization for Standardization (ISO) develop international voluntary standards on occupational health and safety management systems (OH&S MS). This issue has come up in the context of both ISO Technical Committe (ISO/TC 176 Quality management and quality assurance, with developed and is continuing to enhance the ISO 9000 series of standards on quality management systems, and ISO/TC 207 Environmental management, which is developing the ISO 14000 series of standards on environmental management systems).
