Abstract     The introduction of new technology processes requires less occupational injuries, but they can be more serious ones. In Slovenia, the number of occupational injuries has remained equal. The examinations show that the most injuries are suffered by young workers. Among the injured prevail men. The most injuries occuring in producing nonferrous metals, in coal mining and in the shipbuilding industry. Among the injured parts of the body are predominant the injuries parts of the body are predominant the injuries of fingers. Among the 53 fatally injured in the year 1991 were no less than 48 men. The solution can be seen in the endangered groups and being specific for them. The incentive should come from the environments affected (workers, management of enterprises).
