Abstrakt		Although disfigurement is one of the criteria for assessing the severity of a physical injury, it is not defined in detail from the legal aspect. The basis of this standard is the emotional rection of (average) people from the neighbourhood, which cannot be measured and there are also no strictly defined medical criteria for assessment. Thus the courts make decisions on the basis of expert opinion which can be quite subjective and lacking certain standards.
