Abstrakt     Article 26 of the CCT is very rich and detailed in content, the titles explaining in latin what the legislator requires of experts in order for court proceedings to operate in line with the law. Certain articles are especially important for experts since they regulate the examination of the body and of the lethal weapon, when a post-mortem examination is not required for manslaughter and how to handle investigations of poisonings and infanticides (Articles 10 to 15). Articles 19 and 20 require that, insuspicious cases, a burial is not allowed without a court permit and regulates exhumation for body examination. In explaining this article, one comes across instructions which are discussed in detail in the Theresiana instructions.
