Abstract		Nursing history is a basic source of data needed for planing and setting nursing health process. Good history is obtained by interviewing a patient who is the most authentic source of data. obtaining history from an urgent patient must be modified, however the amount of data gathered should not be too reduced. In emergency outpatient department our efforts must focus on patient's actual problems and needs and short term goals of nursing care should be planed. Short term goals should be logical incorporated in long term goals.
