Abstract     Oxygen administration is one of the most common procedures used in the prehospital environment for patient treatment. it is very important that all medical personnel involved in prehospital emergency medical services are familiar with equipment for oxygen administration and with indications for that. With different equipment we can administer different oxygen concentrations: nasal cannuala from 24% to 32%, regular mask from 35% to 60%, mask with reservoar (semi closed system) from 35% to 60%, mask with reservoar (closed system) from 80% to 95% and venturi mask from 24% to 60%. Most common indications for exygen administration are cardiopulmonary resuscitation, respiratory arrest, politrauma, acute myocardial infarction, pulmonary trauma, shok etc...
